Sign-up to the PGLS Ryder Cup is now open

Players who wish to take part must of been a member of PGLS for 3 months from the start of the PGLS Ryder Cup and completed rounds in at least one of the PGA 9, PGA 18, PG Classics or PGLS Open tournies to be considered for inclusion in the 12 players and any subs.

To be included in any team, you must sign-up - do NOT expect that not doing so will lead to your inclusion in the event. Signing up is no guarantee of a place on the team, but will give your Ryder Cup captain(s) an idea of players they will want to assess in trials ahead of the event.

During this stage we need to find Captains for both teams. If anyone is interested in doing so please read the Captains / Vice Captains section of the rules to make sure you are happy doing so, sign-up as above then reply to this topic stating your intentions.

A full set of rules can be found for players and would be Captains / Vice Captains ...

Signing up to the PGLS Ryder Cup will close on Sunday 17th August 2025. After this time the Captains from both teams can then choose their Vice-Captains (Maximum 2).

Conditions for the 3 formats will only be revealed on the day the PGLS Ryder Cup starts which will be Monday 1st September 2025 to Sunday 21st September 2025.

This years course is Bethpage Black.

As far as I can tell, there are about 4 of us who check in here periodically. By periodically, I'm talking once a month or so. Possibly less?

Anyhow, glad to see you're keeping the game alive over there on your site.

Not sure why this forum is even still running?

I presume simply for the archive of discussions around course design?

Yea, but, the powers that be sustaining this site don't seem to give an F about anything here anymore. Why would they care about anything here?

Rhetorical, no need to answer. :)

I really should copy some pertinent info before the lights go out.  When they do, there's no way we'll get a warning.
