I can't see the forum lasting through 2026 so merry Christmas to whoever still checks in.

Merry Christmas..  I pop in here and there, just for the heck of it.

I'm still here too. If it's lasted this long, I don't see why it would go away now. Either way Merry Christmas to you too and Happy New Year!

Hoping they do something similar to what happened to Links 2003 so the community can continue for years to come. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't mind a modernization of 2003 so we can enjoy it in 2k and 4k resolutions.

What did they actually do with Links 2003? Was it open sourced or was the source simply trusted to a few people to keep it alive?

A question for linkscorner if they're still around.  I loved Links but I can't go back to billboard trees.

Good to see a few stragglers.  I have no hope for PG but imagine if something did happen.  Lidar is available for the restored Bel Air -

Ah well.  Happy new year!

Mike and Andrew Jones, and a few others were allowed access to the source code to modify and enhance the game to the version there is now.    They took that concept and made PG, which is why it is similar to Links 2003.
