I personally like to be able to access my Taskbar during gaming or even watching Netflix on my screen.

Very good topic, Lee.
I personally like to have Full Screen mode with NOTHING else on the screen. I sure hope the HUD is going to be something that is not in the way and I sure don't want it on the top of the screen. To me having a bar across the top of the screen, ruins the Full Screen Experience..
Whatever you come up with, I prefer it to be across the bottom of the screen and something streamlined... Putting anything across the top of the screen will be a mistake.. It sure was in TWO...
Of course, if you like to be able to access your task bar during game play you should be able to do that to if you want to..
This IMO is a going to be a very important part of the game, having a True Full Screen display...

I got to thinking about the fact that PP will be utilizing Unity Player. Therefore, I have little doubt we will have the option of being able to play in Windowed Mode or Full Screen. windowed mode was excellent for me and other dual monitor users (before wide screens) in Links 2003.
Large wide screens would benefit greatly from a windowed mode as well. One could setup the game in one window and do all kinds of tasks on the other side of the screen.

You and I discussed this in another topic Larry. We know it would be nice to have both options.
Thanks AJ for the consideration. I know windowed mode would be utilized by quite a few multi-taskers out there in the world.

I think we'll be having both, that's the way it is right now and I see no reason to change that.
I like to play my games in a 1600x900 window usually.

As someone who has almost exclusively played powerstroke in Links, I have always found that the game plays totally differently in windowed mode. So differently that I found it unplayable.

Many games have had timing issues in the past if played in a window, and many companies have recommended that their games be played in full screen mode for the smoothest game play.

And may I suggest, if it's not already the way it is, that when in Full Screen, please don't have any menu bars across the top of the screen, I experienced that with TWO and it was a real deal breaker and IMO ruined the experience and I made it known to no avail... Sucks having a menu bar across the top of the screen... Yup..
