     Hey everyone.  Just saw this game on steam a week or so ago and bought it right away.  I was super excited when I saw that the CourseForge would be available on full release.  I used to design courses and 3d things in the APCD a long time ago a little while after links had just come out.  On Linkscorner my name was Kid.  I spent about a good year or so on there being pretty active so I wouldn't be surprised if anybody remembered me.  

 

     I see that the course forge is in private beta testing currently and would like to let you fine folks at PP know that I am certainly interested in testing and making courses with the Forge.  The graphics level is very impressive and I can't wait to try it out.   I saw on another post that it seems like the list is pretty full, but if there's any chance at all I figured I'd post and try my luck.  I spent a massive amount of time with the APCD.   With course building and 3d, mostly just tinkering around and having fun to be honest.  I took part in a map making competition for a game called Counterstrike: GO and took 11th place out of 170+ entries.  I love working with 3d map editors and I can't wait to learn this one

Good to see another awaiting the CF. Give Unity a try whilst you wait, and see how you get on creating suitable landscapes...!

Figured I might as well jump back in.  Been a long time since I actually posted on the PG forums.  Way too much traffic on the game side of the house for me to keep up with right now, but the CF side is about right in that regard.  And that's really where my interest lies anyway - I do like to play, but I'm as much (if not more) interested in the golf course itself, and seeing all the ideas that other folks have.

 

I've got a course in APCD that I've been working on for a few years (yep, years) that I've made a personal promise to myself that I will finish.  But it's easy to see the possibilities within PG/CF.  I had installed Unity on a previous computer before its motherboard died, but I haven't reinstalled Unity on my new one yet - I fear that doing so will make it harder to keep the promise to myself regarding the APCD course.  And after reviewing the recent threads on here (nice work on Black Swan, K11), it's making it even harder to not go install Unity and start playing around...
