I think we are going to have to ban you from mentioning that you are 21......I'm feeling older every time you mention it!! Roll on your 22nd birthday. I reckon you're the youngest on here.

Any younger?

Any older than Jerry?

I'm sure there are several younger than me. I was actually surprised at the age of everyone on here when I first checked it out. Also, I've permanently attached "21" in my signature just for you, Dave. :)

And just for you I will keep my avatar of me aged about 31, that keeps us permanently 10 years apart.....I'm feeling much younger already!

Actually it's refreshing to see a "young whipper snapper" playing PC golf. I was starting to think it had become an old man's game. (me included.) Ultimately if PP is going to be succesful moving forward there has to be some fresh blood.

Well I have been looking around a bit since stumbling upon all these new-fangled terms 'course forge', 'terrain importer'...something about Bing maps???, then there's  'unity' - what the hell is unity? importer this, height mapper that......   it's a bit dizzying for the uninitiated you know, well anyway I followed up some tip off about Links 2003 after seeing another marvelous looking computer generated image in something called APCD elsewhere  on the forums.....you can understand where all the confusion arises right?

Well once I had become familiar with what that was all about and stumbled upon 60-odd episodes of APCD tutorials on you-tube!! I began to realise that this was a whole new giant  area of subject matter and I was merely tugging at a tiny corner of the carpet, some familiar names on here who turned out to be pretty well established course designers and who were offering their myriad of course designs for free download (how generous!!) out there too......

Well anyway having been so impressed with some of the work that can be conjured up I was thinking I might just spend that 6 bucks and acquire the Links2003 program with the APCD and have a bit of a tinker around with it - see if it's up my street this kind of thing, it's obviousy huge as a hobby goes and I was just left kicking myself and feeling a bit rumbled by the fact that I spent around 300 quid on WGT last year WHEN I COULD HAVE HAD THIS FOR 6 BUCKS!! and what I might have amassed for that money would have probably encompassed all of the PP goodies listed above - I really do feel taken in now, oh lordy what did I blow my cash on at all -  a few dots on a computer screen whern I could have had a graphics editing empire on my desk.

Depressed,

deena.
