Whenever you post in this topic remember to include your "entire screen". The idea is to show how we all customize our desktop and what programs and shortcuts we choose to use. This requires a basic computers skill called "screen capture" or creating a "screenshot". If you don't know how to make a screenshot then search Google for the instructions.  Using just an image .jpg .bmp etc. is not the goal here.

Learning how to make screenshots/screen captures/print screens is a very necessary task to incorporate into anyone's list of PC skills. Being able to capture images/text/web pages/program UI's etc. that you see on your screen makes sharing easy; and is very important for technical help when the need arises.

I highly recommend using  www.ifranview.com for all screenshots and basic image editing. It's a free program and has many image and audio features. It's a very smart choice for anyone who wants to by-pass using  Windows Paint.

If anyone is not certain about the goal of this topic, please re-read the original post. B)

Leeray, at Links 2003 do you play the courses with tourneys in "Links Career" ?  If so, what ID name do you use.

My ID name is the same as here LADYBOGEY.

Hello LB. I don't play at LSPN anymore but do recommend  www.lspn.net , www.linkscountryclub.com and www.linkscorner.org .  I play both Links and TW08 with a couple family members using IP or Hamachi.

That's actually the idea.  The background might be a wallpaper(.bmp -.jpg) or just a solid color, it doesn't matter.  It's  just a fun topic to show how you setup your desktop by capturing shortcuts, pinned programs and any other gadgets one might use on their desktop. ;)

I saw that you tried to upload the image from your Picture Folder.   To add an image to this post, one has to post the BBCODE using their own account at a picture storage/sharing site.  My best recommendation is  www.photobucket.com  . It's free and has many sharing features.

Thanks for contributing. Now others can see what an iMac's taskbar looks like. Bridges are cool. I have Frisco's and London's in my Aero Shuffle background.

Love that clock face on your desktop Warren. Where did you find it? And is it still available?

Hi Jerry.  It's a "personalize" option included with Win7

I guess I'll do without.  I am still running XP.
