Often when at this website and only when at this website I get a temporary screen freeze/mouse freeze. And often my pc will just lock up and I have to reboot - Only happens with this website and I am somewhat computer smart and know how to fix stuff like this.

Does anyone else have a problem with this website.

The usual reply to this tecchy issue, would be to suggest using another browser or offer us further information regarding which browser you use. What Win system are you on?

I've never experienced a freeze on this site or any site that I can recall.. and I'm using Firefox / Win 7.

The only issues I have with this site, are the long loading times for the main images. It's rare they actually load, because I've read or clicked what I needed, before they completed. This isn't a site fault as such however, simply my broadband isn't fast, living out in the villages. I likely get a 3mb/sec speed on a very good day (Today 2.26mb/s).

I truly hope you can experience this with a different ISP in your future.

I use Chrome and IE9 for all my surfing. Right now I am viewing this site with Chrome Version 28.0.1500.95.

I don't have any problems with either browser so I am wondering if it's  Adobe Flash Player.  Visit Adobe.com and download their Flash Player removal tool. Restart your PC then visit adobe.com again and reinstall Flash Player "with" your preferred browser.

Leeray... one day maybe I will lol... however, we're limited over in England by being x(too far) distance from exchanges.. and I fall into that category. I'm not likely to remain at this address for more than another few years, so hopefully Scotland will have improved by then as I'm heading in that direction..

I just happen to be very lucky that I live close to an exchange in my town, about 3 miles down the road. I am curious about ISP costs in the UK. I am paying $55.00 a month for my broadband service which is about $10.00 more a month than their standard service plan. Often times I can download files with a transfer rate between 6 and 7 megabytes a second.

Well, ISP costs here vary.. but likely work out slightly cheaper than what it appears you are paying..

Many ISP's here add in free telephone evening/weekend calls and also TV channels, with an option to have unlimited broadband or a capped broadband. They're only talking about the download limit and not speeds, as that will depend on what speed you can get based on your location. Some City and Town speeds do hit around the 10mb mark... I often hear the sirens of those chasing the culprits exceeding the broadband limit... ;)

So most of the UK has a top download speed for residential customers of 10mbps (megabits per second).

I get 40 Mbps on my sky fibre broadband in the north east of England. Virgin media in my same area can get 60 Mbps I believe.

Yep, I've got Virgin Broadband and am getting 62.76 Mbps download speed right now in Bedford. My upload speed by comparison though is terrible - 3.01 Mbps!!

I remember when NTL brought out the free dial up Internet but it would automatically disconnect every two hours. There was some course I was trying to download for links that was just over twenty mb and the two hours was never quite enough and you couldn't resume downloads. Those were the days lol

Yay.. I'm officially going backwards...

Can you guys not be grateful lol... remember the old dialup, with that crazy software you needed too... not AOL either, that was too controlling.. creating a shortcut to a dialup launcher and hoping to not hear the engaged tone.. aahh.. fond memories.. even a kettle boiled quicker sometimes... some of you don't know you're born lol..
