If you do and are willing to take a few hundred photos for us please post here.  We need someone to go round to East Lake Golf Club.  You will be given full permission from the course and the organizers of the Tour Championship to be there to take the photos.

So can us Brits expect to see some PP work on Sky in September?

Also, does that mean, assuming you've done terrain work, that MJ can use CF to quickly get the course ready to put on public display?

mjhamilton, I think Mike was going to reach out to you via PM but if he hasn't let me know.

For anyone else living near PGA Tour events who is interested in helping out with photos I am attaching our specs below for information

Photos from each tee: straight ahead, 40 degree left, 40 degrees right, photo from rear tee facing away from the hole showing the area behind the tee.

Extra photos of any tee signage or unique detail such as steps, fences etc.

Photos at 100 yards increments down the hole, again one straight ahead and the others 40 degree angle to the sides

2 photos of each bunker on the course from varied angles to best show the structure and shape.

Multiple photos of each green area showing bunkering, green slopes and terrain slopes and vegetation surrounding it.

Photos of other areas of interest such as specimen trees, water hazards, streams, rivers and surrounding vegetation.

Panorama of the course showing as much as possible only distant terrain such as hills, mountains, ocean - whatever surrounds the course. These we will stitch together to form a 360 degree panorama of the surrounding area. Avoid obstructions, close vegetation and course features as much as possible. It's not necessary to take these panorama photos all from one place as it's likely that the surrounding vegetation will obscure certain directions if done this way. It's best to take photos of the distance terrain whenever there is a clear view and then we can piece them together in photoshop later.

Photos of any buildings on the course or adjacent to it, multiple pictures of the clubhouse from multiple angles and any other features or signage

Multiple photos of the different grasses on the course and native grass areas.

Really interesting Andrew.

I soon will be back in Tampa and will try to design, using the PP program when it is released, my dream course there, Babe Zaharius Golf Course, which I have tried and tried to do in the APCD program (and failed).

This info will certainly help.

I wish I had known about this when I was casually hanging around 17 mile drive the other week! 😊
