Now to sync it with the scores in PerfectGolf and to let real-time results show up on that board...  very nice.

I hope you won't have any trouble exporting your model into Unity and that Sketchup does convert your work into the necessary mesh formats.

Unless PP produce a game with crowds, tournament objects are going to look a little odd on courses. I don't want to sound negative (though I usually do! ) but I doubt that crowds will see the light of day in Perfect Golf until much later on in development.

Nice job though!!  :P

The picture is from unity, it was kind of a learning curve project so if u can't use it then it has been a useful exercise anyway

Funny you should mention that, we actually started having some discussions with an AI guru the other day because we want our crowds to have an artificial intelligence.  You see if you are making lots of birdies you should see your crowd increase in size and reduce if you start making bogies.  In other words you set a crowd size and the amount of crowd you get may be dependent on your play while in the game.  We also want the crowd to move around , ie if you have a large crowd after you hit your second shots people will start moving towards the green.

But to be fair to your comment its not like we will have this tomorrow.  Just an idea of where we want to go.  Initial conversations were around whether this was possible...

That sounds great. We were talking about that in the tournament atmosphere section about moving crowds and sizes and such.

I like it Andrew.. hopefully you can include the sounds too, as naturally an increased crowd should result in more sounds. And, to a degeree if you are having a poor round, you're more likely to hear the cheering in the distance, elsewhere.

Sort of galleries with AI, where more come to watch you as you do well, and walk away if your having a mare, lol.

As long as the 'Mashed Potato', 'Babba Booey', 'In Da Hole' brigade are kept outside the course gates, lol.

;)

Did the AI guru come up with any workable solutions for the 'active galleries' or is still just a bullet point in the WIP schedule?
