Has anyone checked out the new images posted by Mike Jones of golf courses? I noticed TPC Sawgrass and Torrey Pines for sure, but I am not sure what other courses are in there. Anyone pick up on the other courses?

Wow! looking great. ;)

I do notice a lot of 'jaggies' so I suppose enabling AA will come with a huge performance hit? Also the water seems to be out of scale, as if the ripples are too big? Maybe it can be adjusted in Unity.

Good eye highfade, I was thinking that the water looked more like Ocean water rather then a pond or lake...

All the pics were taken from Web Builds of the courses and with AA off. On some of the pics the lakes are rather large ie: East Lake and on others the water areas are much smaller so you can set up the water how you like it but as always it looks much better moving than in static pictures.

Of course it does, was just noting that it looked more like it had swells then ripples, no big thing though, I would hope the water moves, I mean that's pretty basic...

In TW's you can tell the difference between lake or pond water and ocean water..  Other then that, all looks very good.

Agreed, they are beautiful screenshots of the 13 courses currently being developed by PP/PG, with the CF over the past couple of months. I'm curious as to what percentage of each course has been completed, as I've noticed Andrew has updated some of them numerous times in the past month or so.

I know this is off topic but talking about courses. When the game comes out it will feature real courses right?

I'm sure it's been mentioned before and you have gallery images of actual courses but just for ease of mind i would love a confirmation on that part.

Yes, it will. There will indeed be real courses, many of them, inlcuding the usual suspects like Sawgrass, Torrey, East Lake, Augusta, Boston and others PGA Tour venues. May your troubled mind be troubled no longer and find mellow peace.

And this, btw, might be a good time to ask the Devs which ones exactly they plan to publish...

This has been confirmed?

It can be safely inferred, methinks. Andrew mentioned the first 10-pack of courses being almost ready now and PP gunning for 40 golf courses to be ready by the end of this year. I don't think all these will be exclusively fantasy courses. We've seen screen caps of Torrey, Boston, Sawgrass, East Lake, Augusta, Royal Litham St. Anne, Cristal Pines, Evian (by 3rd party).

Nothing has been confirmed, granted. I'm still more than just cautiously optimistic that I've got this right.

I'm sure there will be predominantly real life courses upon the games release and early DLC, but I know MJ has already ported his Links fictional designs of Crystal Pines and Shadowlands in to the Course Forge utility.
