EA sports wont be making Tiger Woods games naymore, anyone sad about that? I am a little it was a good series but I think I will be too engrossed in PP when it came out anyway! EA will be making more golf game though apparenty

Actually, whilst EA practically own anything sports related, I'm hopeful they will eventually have a rival. I don't like EA games.. too commercially slick and several other factors I won't bore others with my opinions lol. They've become or give the appearance, as commercial giants, that don't always deliver.

 

If you release a game every year, it has to improve... can we honestly say this with EA ?

no u cant, tiger just adds a new feature every year, same as fifa, people fall for it though, me included lol

EA Sports seem not to be bothered if a game isn't quite finished. They just want to get titles released and make money.

 

This is why SMS (Slightly Mad Studios) ended their partnership with EA, as it was felt SMS were rushed by EA to release both NFS: Shift and NFS: Shift 2 and both ended up being released whilst giving the feel of games that were never quite finished and polished. EA weren't bothered, they just wanted the games released by a set deadline. SMS ended up going their own way and are currently developing PCARS at their own pace.

 

For all my chuntering about lack of product coming from PP for us all to play with, I would rather them take their time and get it right, than it be rushed out and end up needing patch upon patch to put right. I guess this is one god send that PP are managing to 'go it alone' and not needing to look to the likes of EA, who just churn out annual updates to a series disguised as what they call a new game.

In this regard, I don't think Perfect Golf could be in better hands. I am sure that they are totally committed to their product. 

As to EA dropping Tiger Woods - I couldn't give a ****
