got me close enough to save the par.lol
I had one similar to that Dave but mine was behind a BIG Tree Trunk. It completely covered most of the screen. Could not see anything of the view at all.

Ya Dave, I use flop almost 99% of the time 80 ft and in.
i also use it anytime i can, that and chipping from right off the edge. that pitch shot is a whole nother shot
that i don't care much for so i will use a full shot at 40yrds

Yeah, the Chip shot - particularly from the rough - has been made a lot more risky choice, in the current build.
But, from the fringe, with a relatively flat green... the Chip shot can still score well.
