After reading through the "Pricing Ideas/Thoughts" thread, I see alot of this "online subscription" charge... for what?  Just to play the game over the internet?   I suppose it makes sense if there are dedicated servers that will be run by the PP team, that is understandable...  so, my question is, will PG have Direct Connection capabilities, just like Links 2003 has?    This is the exclusive way my friends and I play and not really interested in online leagues or what have you.. not saying don't charge for an online sub, but it would be great to purchase the FULL game and then have the ability to connect via TCP/IP.

We are still looking at all the options so it is impossible for me to say for sure what will be released and how, but rest assured we are testing using direct connection multiplayer
