Perfect Parallel will be at the PGA Show this year in Orlando.  While we will not have a booth we are open to setting aside a day to meet anyone who is going there to meet the team discuss development and meet some of us.  We were thinking Thursday Jan 23rd.  We will be at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, One Grand Cypress Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32836

Please let us know if you are interested in meeting.  Based on response we may set up a dedicated place to meet.

Andrew

to be honest this sounds kinda shady to me,you mean the PGA won't sell you space? or you can't afford it?

i grew up in the golf business and been to a few of these and had no problem to get space and set up a booth

sure it was years ago. i know it is not cheep but come on guys     you have to spend money to make it,this also struck me

the same way it did when you guys wanted to recruit someone to go to Eastlake and do a bunch of pics for you, have not been around much since that post because in my way of thinking if you cant afford a pro photographer then how in the hell will you ever get a game up.

now before the flaming starts, i know a lot of folks here are bigtime believers in this, and i wanna be but i have just not seen enough to be.

also wondering with the way things are going over here what the support will be like.

i'm a realist so my faith is gone for the time being with this, i find no fun in reading forums so i stay away and spend

my time over at the WGT now which i have come to like and it cost me nothing,i get all my stuff through the free credits.

im a level 85 tour master and have all the best clubs and use a expensive ball. got a lot to beat there PP

please prove me wrong

We can meet you on webcasts - map out Grand Cypress instead :)

Won't be at the show this year (not seeing PP or Simtech on the exhibitor list helped me decide actually).

Definitely next year though.

Maybe because they don't NEED a booth and just offering to set up a day/time for a meet & greet, which is done all the frigging time at events like this.

Sheesh.

Dave... go easy lol..

They may not want a booth or be simply involved in other areas etc. But who am I to question why they don't or may not have..?

Also, similarly, why are you advocating spending money to others, when in fact you are supporting another game - but not paying them anything either. I used the term supporting loosely, as you stated it here.. so effectively it's a plug, therefore support.

Whatever your reasons.. and whatever their reasons.. go with it.. it was decent to suggest it was an option for those who are able, to meet up..  maybe swap some balls... ;)

Really?  Shady?  You are implying that the reason we do not have a booth is because we are not allowed to have one by the PGA Merchandising Show (which by the way is not the PGA) or that we cannot afford it.  Neither are true and the incremental cost over flying 6 people from all over the world to attend is not significant, it is our choice and we have good business reasons behind it.  I am glad that you are enjoying playing WGT as I still enjoy playing Links there is nothing bad about that, we all continue to do what is fun for us until we have choices and then we make our own decision on what we want to do just like we have made a choice not to have a booth.  If you change your mind and want to see where we are in the development process, play the game against us or just check out the simulator please feel free to let us know and we will be happy to let you know where to come.

As I have already posted, I would love to go and meet all of the guys. When a date and time is decided on please post it asap as with the medical problem I have with my wife, I need as much time to try to work things out.

Thanks,

Jerry

Andrew,

I will be at the PGA show on Weds & part of Thursday and would enjoy seeing the simulator in action. I am flying back to Chicago Thursday afternoon, so something earlier would work best for me.

thanks for you're post AJ and i would love to take you up on the offer of an early peek but i will wait along with everyone else.

well the faith meter just went up a tad. with the offer

my reason for not taking you up on a peek is due to if you do me you would more then likely get a flood of others and i really would rather see you folks getting the game ready then having to deal with extra stuff. my post did it's job and that was all i was looking for

thanks again

I was able to connect with Andrew, Erik and Mike and get a preview of the PP game and course forge. It is definitely shaping up and I'm even more excited to see the final product.
