Hi, thought I'd just say a quick hello as only joined the forum. Very new to this and may be missing something, but I was wondering when Course Forge will be available for Unity? I have a project starting and this seems ideal for golf courses, so any help would be appreciated. I've dabbled a bit with Google earth for overhead layouts, but am hitting a brick wall with DEM files.

Thanks in advance

We all are wondering, Bloobydog. The Devs are currently really, really quiet. CF is in private beta stage, so I reckon there will be a public beta next.

PP is also preparing a little software called "Terrain Importer" that should be able to help you grabbing some real estate and transferring it into Unity/CF. Again, no official release date has been announced.

There are other and more qualified members around here with experience in DEM files, maybe they can help you - but it might speed up things if you could be more specific about some details of your brick wall.

Hi Kablammo11 and thanks for the reply. By brick wall, I meant finding a good source for elevation data. Just been browsing through the forum and found something that may be helpful, so just checking it out at the moment. I've used DEM files in the past for heightmaps and the like, but trying to source something for the UK seems a bit more difficult.
