I don't mean to be rude, but it just seems like they don't know what they are doing. It's just like with anything, someone with knowledge on anything they are doing will get the job done faster than someone who does not have experience.
It just amazes me that the forum has died down, and people are directing members to other golf games

People are being directed to 'other golf games' (by which I guess you mean TGC) as they have asked what else is out there whilst they wait on PP to deliver PG.
You are right about the forums being quiet, but that is nothing new with PP Dev's, they have never been regular posters. Obviously this doesn't help IMO, as we go week on week without any clue as to what is happening. When they do surface they tell us work has progressed and things are taking shape, so we just sit and wait.
Another golf game appears and they (HB Studios) seem to be more communication minded on their forums and sharing more than PP seem inclined to do (won't guarantee a better game though) but it is competition, which is good, and many folks have no problems playing more than one game.
Should people flock away in droves once TGC gets up and running and PP is still no nearer seeing the light of day, then that may be a time for concern.

It seems to me that people are forgetting that not only is PP a small company with a limited number of people working for them but that they are also involved in producing more than just a golf game. Their Broadcast Suite is being used by Sky Sports in their coverage of major golf tournaments, their Perfect Vision golf visualization service may be doing well and then there is their Perfect Golf Simulation software for golf simulators. To me that says that Mike and the other course designers are probably being kept busy creating real life courses to be used by these. Andrew and other staff may be busy operating the Broadcast Suite system at actual golf events or out in the field doing sales of the sim software. These are the breadwinners that are financing the development of the game, and as much as we would all like the game to be delivered sooner rather than later, these have to be taken care of first even though they cut into the time spent on creating the game. My gut feeling is these guys are spending long days working on all these facets of PP and we should be cutting them some slack. It's not a lack of knowledge or experience, it's a lack of hours in a day. Remember, HB Studios (also a small company) have been concentrating their resources only on the development of their game for the last year and if one has been following their forums you'd be aware that there are a number of things that won't be in the initial iteration of the game that may well be included in PG when it is released.
The bottom line, though, is that we will have 2 very good golf games to play or choose from in the not too distant future and that makes us all winners.

Great thougts Joe. And very true.
I met the guys when they were at the Orlando, FL PGA Fair. They did not have a booth at the fair (this year but they told me they will next year) and were busy every day, all day long, meeting with other interests showing off their Operations. They gave me an hour to meet with them and I had to leave when they had another meeting. A short time but it was well worth it.
