Could you guys in the know possibly confirm which (if any) other types of terrain course forge lays down other than tees, fairways, fringe, greens, rough and bunkers...  Does it lay cart-paths, for instance?

I did notice in one of highfade's screenshots a cart path, but I do recall Mike stating PP were using a third-party plugin for such. I take it highfade was either doing the same or had just painted the terrain. Hopefully highfade can comment. And also on whether this list has changed:

There are also material physics for concrete, earth, pine straw and a couple others. I think there will be a cart path tool in CF but not sure. My paths are just gravel painted on.

Shimonko, that list is still the same default list but you can add to it in the layers editor, so you can create your own textures and select the  physic properties for each one. :)

You get a dozen standard terrain layers - the usual suspects. You may clone any of these and assign it new textures and different physics properties. So the sky is the limit, unless you want to create a new sky layer, which, in theory, you could.

But the physics properties are using Unity's physics material capability right, allowing us to attach say the 'concrete' physics material to our boulders' mesh collider?

I don't see why not.

This is the physics materials we currently have. Perhaps, with time, some more will be added. They will tell the game how a played ball must react to a given surface.

Shimonko,

I think Mike was referring to EasyRoads3D pro.

You can use the free version of Easy Roads although we use pro as we are a commercial studio.
