Figured I would post this here as well for anyone interested.

From the ladies tee just using hybrid and lower.  Had some good shots, and some bad shots.

Every golfer here needs to go buy a launch monitor now!! It's too much fun!

The launch monitor is a Foresight GC2.  Brand new they can be pricey ($6500?), but you can find them on ebay for around 3500.  There is a cheaper launch monitor called SkyTrak that I think you can pickup now for under $2,000.  I don't think that one works with PG yet, but I believe it is coming soon.

I'm guessing only single guys can have these?  LOL.  Cause my wife would kill me if I spent $2,000 to play golf indoors. :)

First time i have seen a  a simulator in action with PG , very interesting and exciting to see this mate

watched a few holes but no driver came out, suppose it would be risky in garage if there was big miss hit

you could spin it around a point it outside, whats the screen made of  as couldnt see it too well

Also some courses it would be beneficial to make them shorter for this

I see over at tgc the protee users ask for shorter courses- never seen protee in action

Looks great though mate and thanks very much for sharing this - love seeing new things

Stephen

Ping,

Simulator users want courses with realistic tees for members , ladies, and forward tees.  Your Halcyon Springs for example, would greatly benefit from having members tees at 6400-6200, forward at 6200-5900 and ladies at 5900-5500.

Btw halcyon springs is a very nice course.

This is the advantage PG has with multiple tee options. Players can choose a championhsip test or play from the forward tees as in the video. In PG you can also play in the same group from different tees depending on how good you are so there are lots of options for players in both launch monitor mode and normal play.

Yup, this is a great feature.  When I play mouse players, I'm on members tees while they are on championship tees.  They still spank me though....lol

Yep exactly.  In the spring/summer, I plan to either set it up in the driveway or possibly the backyard (when I'm not playing real golf of course ;) ).  I broke one of the overhead lights in the garage actually with the hybrid.  I've adjusted my set up, but can't really swing anything longer than the hybrid comfortably in there without possibly hitting the ceiling.
