Just curious, how up to date is lidar data?  Would it be possible to make Bluejack National in course forge?

For those that may not know, Bluejack National is the course that Tiger created in Texas.  I believe it just opened this week.  Would lidar data make it possible to have the height map of this new Texas course?

Depends on when the Lidar was captured. There may not be up to date data of this region. Certainly if there is data then you are good to go.

Little known fact when King Arthur was trying to make a golf course and he ran into some conflict. King Arthur: There's a peace only to be found on the other side of war. If that war should come I will fight it!    Other important fact. Read the Book of John in the Holy Bible.

Man that is a beautiful course.   Definitely on my bucket list to play one day.

As soon as you see that opening splash screen, the influences of Augusta National are front and center.

Definitely a course to look out for in a decade or so, insofar as potential Majors are concerned.

Looks like it'd be a fun experience, just to go around the course and identify the influences from other courses, as well.

tlvx - I was thinking that same thing about it hosting some tournaments in the future.  I'd love to buy some real estate there.
