Well i probably would have finisihed course but got side tracked

 

Went back into photoshop , fixed up my textures to the best of my ability anyway

always seeing if i can make things better.

 

Then thanks to Jimbobh he prompted me to check out unity animation

and they hardly take up any resources and no loss in fps either, hardly added any extra size to course file too

The eagle just flies around but doesnt flap his wings he is not fully animated thats another project to learn later on

 

so now heres another thing to learn- so much to learn but enjoying it 

 

So i  imported an eagle and a fishing boat.

 

Now i tried objects from 3d warehouse, sketchup files and they dont work properly, i spent hourse trying to get the suckers to work and gave up.

 

So its best to use obj files, i got them from tf3dm and turbosquid. they work well- tf3dm has more objects and variety for free anyway 

 

I might make the eagle more prominent too i think and add some more , you cant see the majestic eagle too well but he is there flying around above

 

Also i might try a a few whales as well plus some other stuff, i cant figure out blender animation but will do in the future,  

 

Heres 2 short videos to have a look at and tell me what you think, i toned down the waterfall in background too

 

will also be adding sounds when i get some time

I like both of them. Question, can you adjust the speed that they move, IMHO they are to fast.

Nice job Zinger, yep, they both need to move slower

especially the soaring eagle.

Yes no problem re speed  can slow or increase

I had thought that all scripts would be disabled in PG. not sure if this affects such things.

I think it might be 3rd party scripts that would be disabled, The animations are a part of Unity and work fine in PG.
