What are the recommended image dimensions (512 X 512 1024 X 1024 etc) and file type please.

I too have been using my textures from Links courses which I have converted to .jpg. I have not been able to get the rough texture in Unity to look the same as the same file in CF. What are you doing to get them to look similar.
Thanks for the help. This has been holding me up from releasing my courses for months.

I use everything from 512 to 2048, depending on their placement on the course or on the terrain. And on their function, be it providing a sharp structure of grass blades (2048) to a more general waviness for sand in a bunker (1024) to a general colourisation of a dirt lip (512).
At import, highlight EACH textures inside your assets to bring it up in the inspector. There you can (and have to) set its quality and its compression. Grassy textures, for instance, require a trilinear effect at around 4 to 8.
And each texture also profits from its own normal map to add a little something.
