Many people have mentioned poor communication over a long period of time, but nothing is done about it.

I think this is why many people "kick off" at others.  I know there are not many of you developers, but you really do need to get your act together on the communication front.  (There's me going on watch now  ;) )

Nice, I have explained on numerous occasions that we are waiting on some data from a third party, who have been dealing with some other very important issues.  What more do you want from us.

Did the Speedtree thing ever get signed off, or is this still WIP?

What is speedtree? And what is its importance to course forge? Tgc doesn't use it. Not saying that means its the way to go. But, also I read there is a $20 /month subscription fee for course creators to use it. Is that true?

TGC has their own graphic designers and you only get to use what they want you to use in each theme.

Yes, 20 bucks a month if you want to keep using Speedtree to create your own trees. I think the coupon is for a free month, hence I don't understand not just releasing CF now and when/if the coupons come then give them to us.  It sounds like people would need to learn a lot about CF and Unity first anyway, before ever even attempting to use Speedtree.

I thought they said that the coupons were for free Speedtree assets, not a subscription to the editor. If it's for the editor then there are going to be a lot of very similar looking courses released......  and some with some very deformed looking trees!

It could be both, I don't really know, I haven't studied it as I doubt I will use CF.

2) get a speed tree sub for a month and make a huge variety of trees

You can't make a huge variety of trees with a Speedtree sub unless you own a huge amount of Speedtree varieties in the first place, or you have a very high skill level to create the textures needed to do so. All you can create is a huge collection of the default tree varieties supplied with the editor, and these will severely limit the style of course that you can create.

I don't know, this speedtree thing I guess is the easiest way for them to incorporate trees into course forge. Is this how the current created courses were done using speedtree? i dont think it is...i mean the current courses are fine. My friend said it will take forever for perfect golf to get to ps4. He says pg has been in development for four years and they are still only as far as they are, that the dev team is smaller than hb's and that the game is not really a priority. Hoping he is wrong but, I'm starting to believe these things. It has been a slow process of progress for perfect golf. I can see how people just want one good golf game to come out, have a lot of nice options and develop. As much as I like jnpg that game may turn out to be tgc2. Jnpg is my fav golf game of all time to this point but, it has to progress beyond just offering me a fun round of solo or multiplayer golf.
