I read where there are several MOPs, I just can't find them in the game.
Have they been released?  If so, how do you access them?

As far as I know there  are no "official" in game MOP. MOP right now is a voluntary Method of Play agreed upon by the contestants.

The 2 I know of are NAP (No Aid Putting) which you play by not accessing the green grid or BLI on or near the green and BARE where you turn the HUD off and play with only accessing the HUD when you have a poor shot selection. These are all done voluntarily and on the honor system. Unfortunately locking in such conditions are nor officially supported within the game when creating competitions. BARE would require a fully adjustable HUD and the ability to lock the HUD configuration for creating rounds or tournaments. NAP would require the ability to turn off the Grid and BLI for competitions which would help BARE as well.

All of the different ways of playing in the game are known as "MOP"s.  Method Of Play.  So, Match, Storke, Skins and all the various forms are the in-game MOP's.

When you are setting up a game you can choose stroke, challenge, match, practice etc. on the left side of the screen.  On the right side of the screen you can choose the MOP/s related to the type of round you chose. Just click the < > on either side of the MOP/s.

Perhaps I misinterpreted the OP. I view the Game Type and any ancillary rules as Rule Sets for different Golf Game Types. You can call those different rule sets methods of play. I just think of them as game types. I think of MOP as ways in which the game JNPG can be played by abstaining from some of the assists or some type of self imposed restrictions such as time limitations or clubs allowed...etc. Those are the things that are currently unsupported within the game that I was speaking about.

Apologies for any confusion. There are a great variety of game types and rule sets for golfing within the game.  :)

I belive there is a MOP creator on the social site, where you can create custom ones. Not sure how/if it works

It definitely works... I've created a few for myself.   I have had a little difficulty, but after trial and error, I got the mop that I wanted.. downloaded, installed and found in game.

Is it really "Method of Play"? I always thought it was "Mode of Play". Help me get my acronyms straightened out.

"Method of Play" is what is indicated on PP's social site, so I'd go with that.  I don't think Mode of Play is incorrect by any means, though, as most (if not all) will know what you're talking about!

Thanks - did not see that, I don't do Steam. I still think "mode" is more elegant, but will of course abide by the official parlance.
