I would check your splines are not over lapping. or doubled back on themselves... If you go into spline mode then hover over the spline you want to check it will bring up the blends also...this is usually where they over lap or double back
Hope this helps
Cheers Rob

Also, splines too close to each other can cause this. Display the splines, move the mouse over one of them and hold down the shift key. You can see the lines that separate the seam blends. If these overlap between splines, it can cause what you're seeing.

Made some adjustments to the splines...I think it was the greenside bunker, didn't look like it was overlapping, but must have been too close!
Ther issue of non 0,0,0 terrain...will this become an issue?

Yeah, I can't remember the bad thing it causes, but, it should always be at 0,0,0.

Thanks Crow...will work on that!
In the mean time...removed greenside bunker, added a new one...then this error.
Trust me, if one will discover errors along the way, I'm your guy.

I'm not sure on that error, but how did your terrain get named like that? It should be just: Terrain.

It might be a Gaia terrain. SReesor try renaming it to just "Terrain" and make sure it's at 0,0,0.
Not sure if that's your current problem but you should eliminate any potential terrain naming issues.

Thats the Gaia Terrain identifier...I am creating a new project, will make sure terrain is set to 0,0,0 and rename the terrain...will update later!
Thanks again for all your help.

Yeah, that's something that will come up alot I'm sure. There is so much 3rd party stuff available for Unity that I'm sure 90% of it isn't usable in Course Forge and/or JNPG. I know if there's anything from Unity that uses a script, it won't function in the game.

I have created a new terrain, centred it, renamed the Terrain file and have begun laying out the first hole.
I have also deleted all of the Gaia extensions. I'll report back after I build the first hole. I'm optimistic it should work OK now.

I'm not going to jump in here and tell you all the settings that the terrain file should have as I will be doing a tutorial for that but if you do a lot of work on your terrain only to find out that some of the basic settings are wrong it could end up in a lot of wasted work. If in doubt replicate the settings of the tutorial terrain and you shouldn't go far wrong.
