Hi,

I know that you can move and resize a shape (green, bunker, fairway, rough...).

But can you rotate a shape?

Thanks.

Green, bunker fairway etc are splines  and because you can move the spine pointss around and they lie on top of the terrain,  there is no need to rotate them.  ie simply drag the spine points to the desired location.  Or holding the shift key and left mouse button down drag the entire  spline around

Objects such as bridges, houses, fences etc can be rotated however. This is done from the tool menu just above where it  says SCENE.  Its the middle button of  the 5 .   Just select a circle, hold the left mouse button down  and drag the circle around to  rotate the object.  Use different circles  until you reach the desired position

Hm, yes, there sometimes is a need to rotate them, though that is optional and would only serve to save a minute of time or so.  For more than two years testers have asked for splines to be rotated, but also copied and pasted, and for some simple default shapes like circles and rectangles to be provided.

No, splines can not be rotated.

Or can they? Have you tried going into DEBUG ON mode, finding the spline in the hierarchy (just click on one of it's control points in the scene), then try to rotate it manually like an object? Never tried that myself, just wondering... I know that you can locate individual splines in the debugged hierarchy and move them up and down, so it goes to reason that rotating them is equally feasible.

One additional maneuver I don't often see mentioned is holding down CTRL while selecting a spline point, holding down left mouse, and moving the mouse up and down to SCALE the shape. I find this quite handy if I make my green a bit too large versus redrawing it.
