Planting Trees and Grasses Tutorial

S,

Once you have brought up the terrain window, click on the place trees icon (to the right of the paintbrush icon). This will display the trees you have in your project. Select one of the trees and the sliding bars will appear.

I am currently on the Planting Trees and Grasses tutorial.  Mike, when you clicked on the Terrain icon on the right the various trees come up in the Inspector Window and there are a couple of sliding bars below that which you use to increase or decrease the size of the blue highlighted area in the Scene Window.  However, when I clicked on the Terrain icon, the sliding bars are not there.  Instead I have Terrain Colliders.  How do I bring up the sliders?  I took a screenshot but the file size is too large to attach.  Thanks.

Thanks Daz, I clicked on the icon just to the left of the paintbrush and the Brush size and Opacity bars came up.  I reduced the size of the blue highlight and moved it to a single tree.  I then held the Shift key and left clicked but that did not delete that tree.  In fact if I just left click all trees disappear but then re-appear after the click.

After reducing the size of the blue highlight, I guess it is called a brush I clicked on trees and the size of the brush had gone back to being large.  When it is large I can hold the Shift key and click to delete trees.

It's not working because you're not on the tree planting section of the terrain tools. The icon to the left of the paintbrush icon is the smooth terrain function   :)

Go the tree planting icon, select any of the trees and then you can resize the brush to whatever you want.
