As an Army Vietnam vet, I also thank you for the thread and your service.

Thanks all veterans for there service.

I have been documenting my time in Vietnam for my niece who is putting together a family history.  I served from 1968 to 1970 and got my first Veterans Day card from her yesterday.  It was a nice surprise after all those years.

It's nice to see the Vietnam veterans also finally getting the recognition and thanks for their service to our country like the Iraq War & Afghanistan War veterans are getting. Whether you agree with the reason for the war or not our veterans certainly deserve our respect and appreciation.

I was privaledged to attend a Veterans Day program at my grandchildren's elementary school today honoring their veteran relatives. My father-in-law (WWII & Korean war veteran) and son-in-law (Iraq & Afghanistan war veteran) were among the honorees. I could not have been more proud.

As a non military person, I would just like to thank all our veterans the world over, for all their service time and their efforts in past conflicts.

God bless you all.

;)
