CF/Unity

Ok I'm glad you at least have started using the correct version now, this is one thing to take off the list of potential problems.

The next question is do you have your hide splines icon active? If so that will hide your splines as soon as you draw them. The next question is have you tried calculating the meshes or refreshing your splines all of which are explained in the tutorials?

Can you post pictures of what you are seeing please.

The problem of the disappearing shapes has been solved. It seems that the best defense against this problem is not to move the terrain around. Thank you all for your kindness and your help.

I have been trying to use CF for about two weeks and for the most part it has been a minor nightmare. I have encountered many pitfalls which after a great deal of lost time and with much frustration I have been able to solve. The latest very annoying problem is that when I try to draw a shape, a fairway or any other shape. it disappears and it's hard to find. When I finally find the vagrant shape it doesn't sit properly and firmly on the ground. I have tried lowering the terrain, raising it and perhaps a myriad of other desperate attempts to tame this wild and inexplicable behavior to no avail. Has anyone else encountered this insanity? And if so what is the solution?

Treat JNCF as you would a Gremlin,

No Bright lights,

Don't get it Wet,

and Never feed it after Midnight.

Seriously, the videos Mike has provided in the Tutorials section are very straight

forward and easy to follow.

One other thing, Never, Ever, move the Terrain.

Thanks for your input, Noputt. I agree, designing the actual hole is not difficult, it's the schizophrenic behavior of CF and Unity that is absolutely bad.

Last time you had a problem it turned out you were using the wrong version of Unity. CF cannot be held responsible if the very clear instructions are not followed.

I have been using the Unity version you suggested, 5.2.3.f1
