Speed Tree grasses ?

Best Answer Mike Jones , 22 November 2016 - 12:33 PM

I was reviewing Speed Tree yesterday and noticed it offers some grasses in addition to trees. Are these grasses the "same" as the grasses used in CF at the moment? Specifically, are the CF grasses created in a similar way so that they have similar number of tris?

Thanks

It's a completely different system. The speed tree grasses just completely suck up processing power so I wouldn't bother with them for PG.

One of the beauties of CF is that you can and import and use mostly what you like, it's up to you to decide whether they look better than the default ones.

I've just downloaded some grasses via the Asset Store which cost about £3. The colours of the grasses look too bright and cartoony and require altering somewhat.
