Raising/lowering terrain

Best Answer Mike Jones , 05 December 2016 - 08:24 PM

You can do a large hard edge brush lower with a fairly high opacity and then one click will lower that entire brush area by a fair amount without touching the internal contours. Of course you will probably have to move down the entire hole and do the one click lower in stages and then smooth out the parts where it doesn't quite meet up.

Practice on an unused area on the terrain first and also backup your terrain before doing any major ops like this.

Is there, if possible, a way to raise or lower large areas of the terrain without effecting (or is it affecting?) the overall shape of the terrain? I have a short par 4 laid out and the shape of the land it sits on is perfect, but its about 30 feet to high. Raising the tee is out because it would look out of place. Lowering the FW, and green complex along with the surrounding terrain would be the best bet as I could hide any odd elevation changes behind trees and vegetation.

Isn't Course Forge Great !!!!

Little known fact when King Arthur was trying to make a golf course and he ran into some conflict. King Arthur: There's a peace only to be found on the other side of war. If that war should come I will fight it!    Other important fact. Read the Book of John in the Holy Bible.
