Hi, I play with a skytrak always offline. I recorded some rounds to play against myself and try to have the best score on different courses. The thing is that when I beat myself on a recorded round, my best score is not taken in consideration, only the old one remains. Is there a way to keep always the best round in recorded rounds on a course?

By the way, do the options "begginer player" and "putting aids" affect the result when playing with a simulator like skytrak or is that only for "mouse controllers"?

Thanks!

I dont think the game overwrites saves to your PC, it will just continue to add them.

So if you play a course 5 times, record each round locally, you should have 5 rounds to choose from next time you tee it up. You select the round you want to play against, the game AFAIK doesn't automatically pit you against your best recorded round.

My games don't record at all. What is going on!

As far as I can tell it's not possible to record a round when playing against a previously recorded round.

I am talking about recording a fresh round never played before. I can't record anything.

To state the (perhaps not necessarily) obvious ... when you record, you select the box right after the words Record, correct?

If you're doing this and not getting any RND files written after your round to the following directory:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Perfect Golf\RecordedRounds

then, it's possible you don't have write access to that folder (for some reason).

Since this is a Steam game, I don't even know how you can run it as an administrator (the usual method of right-clicking the shortcut and choosing "Run as administrator" doesn't exist).  Perhaps your files are being saved elsewhere?

Try showing hidden files (and option for your File Explorer) and then search your entire computer for *.RND to see what it comes up with.

This all assumes you're running Windows ... if not, please advise what OS you are using.

Hi,

In addition. You have to complete the round without leaving and resuming. You have to play all the way through for the recording to stick. Most likely you already have completed a round without resuming while trying to record but you never know.
