this is my current project and my last one .i will wait for the next release of course forge before i do any more.

this one is 1m ladar ,this is one fantastic piece of data,much better than anything ive worked on before,im already down 13 holes, but a crazy amount of work left.will not release this one for quiet sometime http://imgur.com/YEUtkc7

Side note...

You guys still all crack me up with the "Vizio TV @ Best Buy with Saturation turned up to Buy Me NOW I'm the most VIVID... " mode in PG's skies..

Be happy to see this course come to light... off to a good start, and clubhouse looks great.

 

Must echo the thought on the color saturation... I would urge it be turned down a bit to look more natural.

 

Look forward to updates as progression continues.

I imagine quadet63 saturated the image in Photoshop.  He did the same thing to some early images of Avenel a couple months back.

thanks guys!this is the famous 13th at valhalla,the signature hole!on the hillside behind the green there is also a waterfall,which i havent added yet.is there a tutorial  on how to do this,i have been unsuccesful so far.I know k11,dogz, and ping zing have done this on there courses.could someone do a tutorial on this.this  screen was lit with a skybox let me know what you think. i personally like it better than the dynamic sky,the colors seem deeper and sharper to my eye. and yes before anybody ask's ,it took me  approx  16 hours to stack those stones.scheesh!dont get to excited this one is a ways out.

Always liked this course a lot back in the old Links LS days and looking much forward to your version. Looks very promising!

Your doing a wonderful job re-creating this course. I was going to take a crack at making this course myself. I've made this course about two years ago in Golden Bear Challenge. I have a lot of source materials if you need something, but what I can see with the 13th hole it's exactly as I see it.  It would be cool if you can get the waterfall to work. The course has changed several times over the years because of the Ryder Cup & PGA Championship being held there. BTW I know the stones are a challenge. There are several holes on the back nine that require stones by the greens.
