These images do not do Stephen's course justice. Being an alpha tester for the past couple of weeks, I can attest that you will find this gem challenging and a real thinking man's/woman's course. No smashing a driver on every hole. It's a bit short at just over 6500 yards, but filled with very unique holes as designed by the late Mike Strantz.

Wow, those screenies look bewt.

Obviously another course TGC designers would overlook with it being relatively short (or that was the excuse they used for nobody doing Cypress Point in TGC, lol).

Looking forward to giving the course management a workout.

Looking very good! That's a great pick. Always been fascinated by the looks of it and can't wait to play it.

Cheers Lez.

Obviously the length excuse for Cypress Point was total BS then, lol.

Halcyon Springs and Land's End (free advertising for you mate) were fantastic creations by you pingzing.  It looks like this real course just might be as much fun to play as they are.  Both of those courses i play a heck of a lot.  Thank you for such good creations.

The TGC Tobacco Road is a fictional course. It is not even close to the actual.

I had always wondered about that.  I played it once and stopped.

Wowzer. Initially viewed Ping's screenies at lunchtime on my phone at work and they looked good.

Now at home on the PC and they looking even better. Looks an absolute corker of a track.

The course I played on TGC was not designed as fictional. The designer did his best with what was available at the time. It may have been wildly inaccurate.... and not traced from aerial photos or using lidar data for ground contours, but that was some of the limitations of the GNCD back then, and probably still is!

Maybe he should have called it E-Cig Road.

Might have been more appropriate seeing as it wasn't the real Tobacco, lol.

Thank you for choosing this one. It's the course I would have done if I weren't too lazy to learn CF.

( I am posting this as a testament to using an e-cig to quit smoking.)  I do hope PP allows this to be posted although it is off the topic, as our health is our biggest asset in life.

I have quit smoking over 2 years ago by starting nicotine vaping.  When I stopped that I was rid of the ugly nicotine addiction.  Smoked 40-50 daily for 34 years and thought I would never be able to stop.  I wish the best of health for all and do hope that some current smokers thinking about trying the e-cig do so.  I have forgotten what it was like to cough.  :)

Here is an update  in which DPRoberts generously has  built a Silo, Clubhouse and i researched the course and noticed each Tee Box has a seperate farm tool on it, so i found them on the WWW and sent them to Dp to Modify , here is the plow disc, i have to wait for the rest of the tee boxes  and an old cabin as dp is very busy.

Thank you very much

One is left to wonder what that red roof on the house really means.  :P

Thanks for the recognition Ping Zing. Only wish there were more hours to the day and I could cover all your requests. You've done a great job on research and execution with this one.

It's a wonderful tribute to the late Mike Strantz.
