Great work Jim. I've got 3 flags at the 18th at Kiawah and will try and implement this. Just one more of those little touches.

Here is a short tutorial on getting a Flag in Unity. Not great but will give you an idea how it works.
Sorry I have no mic so I used captions. Hope this helps a little.

Materials and double sided shader. unzip and Put these in your assets folder. (the dbl sided shader allows texture to both sides of flag)

I used the custom package to insert a flag and the only issue with it is that the flag isn't animated. It's stuck just at the start of waving.
PC specs...

Anyone know the best settings for flag movement, mine does indeed move just not quite as much as i'd like...whats your favourite settings?

Try External Acceleration X=2.5, Y=3, Z=4.
Random Acceleration X=-1.325, Y=-5, Z=-6.

Got it working thanks. Changed "Z" setting to "3" so the flag was drooping slightly when the wind subsided.
