Not sure if this has been asked before, but are there any plans on an update of CF so you can test your course inside CF, rather than having to compile the files first and then booting up STEAM to play it. This would save a lot of time and effort.

If this has been requested before, then apologies for this post.

Design and play as you go has been mentioned  many times,

but has yet to happen, and frankly,I don't think it ever will.

I'm all for a quicker build and play, but design should always

remain separate from play imo.

I really want the green Design in CF  to show slope  grid lines, like in game so we can get a better and a more clear view when we adjust the Green slopes , i cant see the adjustments  properly as i do them on the fly  , and have to use the Paint height  tool to and the shift  key to get my heights from one point to another, its ok but can be better .

Cheers

To get an overall sense of a slope you can use the measuring toolon the green. It will indicate the difference in height between each end point.

I wish I could hover over the libs in the inspector and know which texture was which. I know, wish in one hand and crap in the other.

I know the first one is my terrain texture. They all look about the same to me after the first one.

Same goes for trees.

Maybe try using the Shaded Wireframe option in Unity. This should give a good appreciation of the slopes on the greens in addition to what has already been stated.

Having to work with the basic assets, its very limiting IMO, it would be great if more assets\models were released for CF. I guess I will have to re-learn how to use 3DMax and Blender again as I have issues exporting with Sketchup! :)
