Wondering if the surface tablet running Windows 10 would be powerful enough to run unity and course forge? Anyone use one?

The OP is asking about Unity and CF performance, not PG.

The pro 4 might be a better option, anything lower than that then I would give it a miss...

There is no shame in defeat, there is only shame if you do not learn from it.

Yeah, only for course forge and unity, not to play the game. I may be buying a new tablet soon and was thinking maybe I could try to work on a course with the little pen instead of my shaky azz hands... I have a dedicated gaming PC to run the game/sim part.

I have a pro 4 tablet, i7, not sure on ram but 8 or 16. I will install Unity and CF on it and then report back. The wife uses it, I don't but I'm kinda interested to see if any of the touch features work in Unity. Might be fun for the mesh and terrain painting I've been doing.

As far as I see it, being able to run the actual JNPG game is also part of the design process, so you can actually see for yourself how the project looks in the game.

Maybe if you have a secondary PC that can adequately run the game, the surface Pro would be fine for Unity/CF work.
