I've watched the video a few times and I actually thought she corrected herself at the last minute... her initial mark was terrible, but at the very last second she moves the ball again in what appears to be the direction of the coin.

 

I don't know.... if this were the NFL, they'd call it "inconclusive" and move on. I'd say Lexi was perhaps a little careless but I don't believe it was malicious.

bottom line is officials need to catch these infractions when they occur, and not after the fact ...

 

This is absurd. No other sport allows a random couch potato to alter the outcome of an event ...

 

Agree completely. Absolutely ridiculous ...

The bottom line is that you have to take the fan out of the game of calling in infractions ... 

 

I think my problem with this entire thing is you can't vouch for the neutrality / impartiality of the caller ...
