well now that i have gotten past a long time learning curve i have started setting difficult pins

and im finding that quite a few courses the difficult pins seem to be way easy, this is not a complaint it is only a heads up for you designers, you may want to look at your pins from a more critical eye. the hardest pins i have found so far IMO are the difficult pins on the composite course Royal Melborne these pins are all you can expect for difficult and are more what i consider to be.

Just, curious.  Whats your idea of an easy pin vs a difficult pin?

uneasy access, and at least some kind of movement around them, what im mainly speaking of is i just got done playing a course

that im not going to name as i hate courses being updated unless it is major. but most pins where pretty easy to get at and i also had a lot of straight putts with no movement from left to right, just up and down. also noticed on others i have played in the last few days.

just played a round on Whitestone difficult pins i think this is a good set of pins.

only shot a 1 under and most of my lost strokes where on the greens.

don't care to look for the post but way back someone posted about having x amount of each difficulty per round.

say 6 easys,6 med,6 difficult. i think something like this would work maybe 3 different pin sets per hole call em friday,saturday,sunday.
