After numerous attempts with the APCD over the years, this is looking most inviting and finally I may get several steps closer to recreating my home course in a virtual world.
Many thanks AJ, MJ and the rest of the PP staff.
The future of PC golf certainly looks to bright.

Just wanting to say really enjoying the recently uploaded videos that have showed a brief insight in to how the Course Conversion Tool works, with image and height map info and also the Unity tutorials MJ has done showing how to import the data in to Unity 3D and prepping the course layouts ready for working on in Course Forge.

Ditto...
Can I just ask, is the data imported in these videos (the txt, tga and raw files) from APCD? I'm just wondering if there is a way to obtain this data from a TWCA file as that is the format of my designs...
Cheers,
Gary

Great tutorials!!!! Will there be a printable tutorial???
I also feel that a printed tutorial is definitely needed clint.
I would also like to see a printed explanation of all of those options in the drop-downs telling what they do/are for.

Yes, I've been tasked with creating the CourseForge manual so it will no doubt be full of typos and grammatical errors
I'm glad people are enjoying the first tutorials and we will have some test data for you to play around with for sure so you can take things a little further even before CourseForge is released

I've only got a Dell Zino HD......proof of the pudding later.
Is it just me but have others (especially those outside of the US) been searching the web to try to source terrain data from non-Bing? I've read some very interesting stuff that has gone straight over my head!

Mike,
I have installed Unity 3.5 which you had originally said the Course Forge was working with. Should I update it to 5.0 for the testing or stay with the 3.5?

Thanks Mike; sounds great. English is not my mother language so I will not notice your typos and grammatical errors

As part of my job in printing I used to do proof-reading on a daily basis. I would be more than glad to check it over for you once you have it completed.

Have you proof-read the 'about us' section at the bottom left of this page. I kept meaning to email them about it. There is little punctuation, and one part repeats itself! Maybe it's just a browser formatting issue? - I'm on Chrome.
There's also a spelling error on the Perfect Golf page (can't remember what it was, but it's still bugging me, and making me want to check it again!). I'm easily annoyed!!

New to Perfect Golf and really enjoying the challenge.
I am looking forward to attempting my own course design and have been playing in Unity (fun for a newbie). Aside from the steep learning curve and frustration with Unity, I am looking forward to Course Forge.
I can't seem to access the videos mentioned here. Are they not available right now, being reworked for newer versions, or only available to those working in Course Forge right now?
