I never played TW, but that is the best shot aiming tool by far.
So much more 'realistic' than using the red/white barber pole.

There was a mod that I used in TW08 that made the aiming arrow invisible.

You can just use the arrow keys in PG to aim as well ... you don't have to use the barber pole.

I know, but I'd rather not have the barber pole as an aiming option. Just a personal preference.

TW08 Close House GC - Windy
TW08 definitely had a lot of features as well as mod-file downloads to customize the interface. Back then a GTX 480 2GB handled TW08 maxed out.
