Has Perfect Golf and/or Course Forge finally been "released" as a market ready product, not a beta / early "preview" version? Because from what I can see on Steam it doesn't appear that is the case.

And what about Terrain Forge? Is that a viable product?

Yes, the game doesn't have some features the other golf games have had in the past, but as a golf simulation, it can't be beat by any other game, IMO.  If all I went by were Steam reviews, the only games I'd have would be Awesome Blossom Anime Funtime Girls.

Terrain Forge has not been released.  However, the community has stepped up and created methods for importing and using LIDAR data.

Classic:)

Hey Mike, throw in an anime golfer and rename PG to Crows suggestion for a quick 2 million sales...

I'm glad my parents don't ask me when I'm coming out of beta when I don't do stuff perfect.

My thought as well.

Not a real "welcome mat" here with these types of reactions to a new/unfamiliar user just asking legitimate questions.

Was I an asshole?  Sure, I made a comment about Steam reviews that I thought was funny.  I thought I told him what I thought.

They were indeed legitimate questions, to which Art answered.  The rest of the posts are all off-topic, including this one.  Delete them all and lock this thread!

Steam page clearly says released in May 2016 - so it was trolling. 2/3rds of PG owners recommend. People have racked up 1000's of hours in the game. OGT Simulator players pay $290-$390/yr to happily play JNPG, in far preference to other far more established releases such TGC. All this suggests it's totally market ready.

Also rwmorey always posts stuff like this - including "just release it, even with bugs" a few times.

I'm more surprised he actually came back, lol. He always viewed PG and CF as vaporware.

RWMOREY Posted 05 September 2016 - 05:08 AM

Although Course Forge must exist for it to have "beta" users, it's been such a long time since it and the actual golf game were announced that it clearly appears to be a classic case of vaporware.

I have moved on as I'm sure others have as well and will continue to do so.

Thread, as short as it was, is archived here - http://www.perfectpa...rware/?p=109850

Maybe he'll start over his vaporware obsession for PG2, lol.

Sounds like he's just a troll then.  I'm going to lock the thread.
