Starter questions:
How many players can I have locally playing at the same time on one Skytrack/Computer?
Do I need a broadband connection at all times or can I play offline?
Will a Wi-Fi connection suffice?
Are multiple licenses available at a discount?

You can have up to 8 players playing locally at a time.
You need an internet connection at startup to verify Skytrak/PG sim access. For online tournaments, internet connect must be all the time
Wifi can be used
For license discounts, check with Skytrak
To play in weekly competitions and online multiplayer with others sim users(with voice/text chat), come check out OGT (onlinegolftour.net)

In addition to Zmax's spot on information, you only need one SkyTrak and one copy of PG for each 8 players. You will want multiple player accounts on OGT to each compete in tournaments and skill tests and have your own stats.
Wifi connection on SkyTrak works even better than USB and also makes it easy to take the SkyTrak out the range and use the excellent Android or iOS software.
