Sorry, no disrespect intended here but I am compelled to make the following comments:

The boat and chopper are very nice gingerbread, but wont all that noise and animation be a bit too distracting when you are trying tp play your shot or make a putt?  After all this is Golf Simulation, not a video game and the animation went on for nearly 3 minutes..

Looking good Justin.  Seeing your course again (now with the ferry) reminds me of that Coeur d'Alene par 3 with the ferry that takes you to the island green.  Would be great if someone could do a rendition of Coeur d'Alene.

We have made many attempts to get the lidar for Coeue d'Alene. A member of the course talked with the owners to see if they had lidar, but they didn't. Surely too bad there is no lidar coverage.

Arsam, no disrespect here either but you should check out the Real Course,  this is not some "video game" on the contrary this game is supposed to be the closest thing to IRL and I say this course does it justice. Here is a little background video, plz watch it until the very end.

Also when this course comes out I think you will be awestruck to find that this course is as exact from the Giant American Flag to  a small electrical box on the course. Hardly a "video game".

Thanks for the video Axe and I can appreciate that you have made an incredibly accurate rendition of this course, but how often IRL does the Ferry Boat dock at the same time as a helicopter landing during regular play.  Also as with Aronimink which is an excellent representation of that real course the sounds are way too loud.  With Aronimink it is the water sprouts on one of the back 9 holes (can't remember which) which is so loud (especially when using headsets during multiplayer rounds) it is totally distracting when you are trying to make a delicate pitch shot or putt.  I mention Aronimink because my friend and I are currently playing a 4 four round Multiplayer match there using voice chat, and that one hole is a real distraction from the overall enjoyment of the course.  Finally as I mentioned in my previous post the Ferry/Helicopter event, aside from being too loud is nearly 3 minutes long.

That being said, I am a very big fan of your course designs and I thank you for sharing your talents with us.

EDIT,

I just noticed that I may have miss spoke when I attributed this design to you Axe.  I am sorry for the error on not correctly attributing this course design to Justin, but I believe my comments are still relevant, on your course (Aronimink) and this one by Justin.

Thank you Arsam. Any comments about my course would be better made in that forum. I would be happy to address them there. ;)

Loud? Maybe that's why it's taking old hacker Harry so long to make his putt. LOL Heck, I haven't even put the seagulls in yet or the F11 fighter jets flying over. Bubba Watson coming across the water on his hovercraft headed to the clubhouse :D. Well, as far as the sound being loud there is a in-game volume control. I know myself I have mine turn way down for most courses. And if you don't like the sounds just mute them. Just goes to show you can't please everyone all of the times.

I bet if there was a survey about putting animations in a course. Most people seem to be in favor of them.

Justin

If those things are part of the charm and character of the real course, then I think they should be included :)

Just hit the putt already!!!
Good stuff Justin. Looking forward to it.
