Great idea, as $250 is a tough ask without a trial.

The problem is, I don't feel the proposed one one week is adequate to appreciate PG enough. That first week is full of teething problems, signing up and configuring to a tour site, hating the game because it doesn't appear to have a scout mode or thinking the game is not representing their shots right due to indoor 'simdrome'. Or simply not getting adequate play in due to life.

It's a game that one falls in love with slowly in other words, not at first sight.
At least when there was no trial you had to give the game a chance because of the money invested.

I think two weeks would work better - time to setup and then some time to play.

That matches with the Steam 2 week return period for the game.

Hopefully OGT could also do some trial because without fail, everyone who joins the OGT Discord channel loves the community there as much as the golf. Plus we sort out their teething problems super quick.

good idea, i would even go further, give a trial period of one month for free.

maybe even make a decicated version for it with 2 courses or so..like a demo.

its very true that this game grows on you slowly, and i think thats partly a reason why many leave after giving it a short tryout.

Steams 14 day return policy is only available so long as you haven't played more than 2 hrs of the game.

Yep, thanks for pointing that out - would hate for someone to go to get a refund and learn there's a 2 hr playtime max. Also Steam don't like people constantly asking for refunds are 1 hr 59 mins.

JNPG 1 week Simulator Pass trial for will be available within days. Should work with all LMs except for Skytrak.

OGT can offer a trial membership as well if requested.

I asked someone considering the trial his thoughts on it:

"I probably wouldnt. In reality, in the 1 week trial i would probably play like 2 or 3 times, maybe an hour each time. But maybe i would. Not sure."

Des anyone know if the trail pass works with a Skytrak? I've got TGC currently and have bought JNPG on steam but would like to demo it before buying the season pass, I know there was a thread about the trial pass and skytrak on thegolfsimforum but threads about JNPG don't tend to last too long there and I can't seem to find it now.

We don't yet have word from PP whether the sim trial will work for Skytrak.  But since Skytrak controls the activation of your unit with PG, I highly doubt it will work.   I would suggest you save yourself the $20 sim trial and just buy the sim pass.  :)

Lots of golfers are loving it.  Multiplayer is awesome and tournaments at OGT are super fun and very competitive.
