Early days with this, i have a unholy amount of grasses to plant, not sure if the game will handle it...we'll see, and about 3 miles of stone wall to plant to boot, so fingers crossed,  this is gonna be a drawn out affair.  6 holes down and playable at the moment.

You're on a tear lately. Played front 9 of Sommerset this morning. Looked and played fantastic. I'm not someone who goes through the course with a fine tooth comb, I just play and if anything stands out I report it. Everything was excellent front 9 of that one.

The pics look fantastic of this one also. Love the color. Thanks for the hard work on all your courses!

Shame that tall grass plays so easily in PG and isn't the penalty it should be.

Yes landing in that should def increase your % power loss, its a shame...maybe in PG2

What if, in the areas that come into play you draw a spline of deep rough around that grassy area? That would definitely increase your percentage. Instead of just playing as rough without a spline?

Hello yeltz, yes i was looking at that last night, is that the only hole? will prob just leave it in if its only the one.  GNCD really could do with better tools for links,  they should have gone all out to make pot bunkers a thing, but their main stumbling block is the grasses, GNCD might have 3d grass but you are so liited with how much you can use.  The grass i have planted here after 9 holes is insane, but up to now its playing fine with no impact to frames.

btw yeh send that guide, i'll take a look..cheers

Ah well it will have to be muirfield circa 2013, i'm not gonna go digging into the terrain just to swap a few bunkers, its accurate down to a metre, be a shame to go messing with it.

By the looks of it, the lidar data is from 2011. It was collected between March 2011 and May 2012 and is 1 m lidar

yes justin, they have obv made changes since so it is what it is, i'm not gonna go digging the plot up to accommodate the changes, might not be so bad if it was just a few bunkers, i may consider it, but they have extended some greens too.  So it will just be called muirfield 2012 or something.
