Got a quick question for you experienced course builders. I am testing my first course and I can't figure out why some splines appear visually, but don't seem to interact with the ball/player. This isn't wide-spread, it's just appearing on a few holes and I can't find what's wrong.

This is a large bunker, but it is being referenced as 'rough'. I try to hit out of it and the ball only goes a few feet.

This is a normal bunker, but it is being referenced as 'rough'. I try to hit out of it and the ball only goes a few feet. The thing is, most of my bunkers just like this work fine, so I'm not sure what's wrong.

This green is being referenced as 'rough', but it defaults with a putter. None of my other greens do this. Can't figure it out.

Thanks in advance for your help. Can't wait to share this course with everyone.

Sorry, not really seeing a problem here, the Green says Green in the pic,

and the Sand has Caddie advice as usual.

Just so we are clear, Splines are what is drawn with the pencil and have adjustable control points.

The Mesh is what is contained within the spline and has an assigned texture.

If you draw a bunker spline and calculate it, you get a bunker.

Have we been tinkering with the Layers Library without a bomb suit?

I'm not trying to be funny, just trying to figure out what your text and pics

are showing and saying.

It's hard to tell from the picture, but is old hacker Harry floating above the sand? Looks like there could be a invisible mesh above, your sand. Did you by any chance reload a terrain with a different scene, and not recalculate the meshes? Just a wild guess. Also, if you use Skype can share your screen to take a look at it better. Just p.m. me

A unity picture with splines showing might be more helpful.

In the mean time, I would double check your splines and make sure that they are what you think.  For example, its easy to click the scissors (cut-out spline) when you are trying to go back and forth between setting with clicks or drawing.

Anyway, a unity picture might be helpful.

I have had a couple bunkers corrupt on me.  You can't get out of them in game.  I had to delete the spline and create a new one and rebuild it.  Takes less than 5 minutes and solved my problem.

I am not sure what you are saying about the green.

Would be helpful to see a shot of what's in the layers library.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I figured it out. The terrain inspector has a section for Terrain Collider. The selected terrain file was an old one, so I selected the most recent terrain file and now it plays perfectly. I've got to do some final planting and I'll submit for testing. I'm excited to share it!
