anyone think Santa Mike may show up with some new tourneys to play?
would be nice to see some new one's get put up.
Well, he is responding in other threads and I am sure he has seen this one by now... once again one has to ask, is this a big lift? Does it take 5 hours to set up a public tournament? Why can't the general public have access to post their own tournaments? To be honest, I've given up hope.

im thinking the boss (tracman) has requested we have no more public tourneys. im not sure how their API works
but i do use the PGLS api and it is simple to put together a tourney could be done in maybe 3 minutes without researching the pins.
when i research the pins 30 to 45 minutes. so this big story we have been told all along about how long it takes to put a tourney together is nothing more then pure hogwash and lazyness. i dont see this project progressing much further for the PC player myself.

Third party tours like PGLS can do a much better job of organizing, creating and running tournaments. I'm not saying that there will be no more official tournaments only that if you want to play tournaments there is an easy way to do it.
PG was set up with several APIs so that tournament sites could integrate with our in game UI and run their own tour. If we were doing official tournaments better than they were it would make more sense for us to continue to create them.
