I guess it is a case of I like what I'm using.... I see the ball fine and if it disappears, fine, I'll find it. It almost reminds me of real golf... seeing roughly where it went, and then finding it...

Comet Tails are arcade... nothing more off-putting playing something that wants to get away from that very thing it offers...

Makes perfect sense.

@IanD and axe360 - Out of curiosity why do you say you will never use the comet tail?

I personally enjoy using the comet trail. Wish my ball did that in real life, maybe even send up a flare to help me find it. :D

Especially when you yank one into a heavily wooded area.  :o  :)

Throw me in with Axe and Ian. I prefer no tail of any kind because the last time I played IRL, my ball did not any crepe paper attached to it.

Seriously, having the option of tails is just fine. In fact, on the range, I'll use a 'full tail' to track my ball. But in a game, no. Just personal preference.

Apparently you're not hitting it hard enough IRL...I have a vapor trail on mine....lol J/K!!!

I agree with you though, nice on the range.

You are absolutely right, I can throw or kick it farther than I can hit it. :P
