Here is something that's pretty cool as well. I have the PGA Tour, European Tour, Champions Tour & Dot Com Tour up and running in TW08. Going into the game, I can jump to any of my four created tour seasons, play as many holes that I want and go to another tour and pick up where I left off in it. Really a lot of fun.

Fun to see.
I loved TW08..

That said, both of those are really starting to show some serious age, especially in the Links @ Sawgrass video.

TW08 on PC, stlll has things that would be gr8 in this game, a smaller swing meter for one.

I always loved the way you can almost feel the club hitting the ball in True Swing.

They even have 3d grass!

I don't know if I could go back and enjoy TW08 physics after playing PG.

The majority of the physics interaction in PG are the best of class, ever, for a golf game in my view.

I remember some pretty wonky physics in TW08, no?

(maybe my memory is fuzzy on it - it has been awhile now..)

Sounds fun!  What operating system are you using?

I have 3 removeable drives. Windows 7 64 Pro, 8 & 10  64 Pro as well. GTX 1060 dual fan 6GB card on 60" widescreen 1920x1080 res. Tried running TW08 in Windows 10 but was having issues getting it to run properly. Put the game back on Windows 7 and it runs smooth as silk. There is a tutorial in the Course Downloads forum on installing and using the Career Editor in order to run the tour seasons like I am doing. If you are running the game in Windows 10 without any problems, then the Career Editor should work in that platform as well.

I still have TW 08 installed on my PC which has Win 7 as the O/S.   Tru-Swing doesn't have the feel  of RTSM and I could never figure out the tempo required to achieve good contact.  Although I haven't used a click meter since my Amiga days back in the late 80's I checked out the 3C for TW08 out of curiousity and the meter certainly fills in a lot faster than JNPG.  However a couple of minutes clicking on a meter was enough for me.

The grass slants to the right, or is it to the left if you have a Nvidia card.  I have a 6GB GTX 1060.  I believe it was the last PC version of TW and I have never owned a game console.

Yeah I'm in the same boat.

I'm actually sort of amazed that so many enjoy 3C still...

To me 3C golf belongs back in the Windows 98/XP range of time...but ...to each our own.

You keep forgetting that disabled people who cannot move their arms or wrists back and forth are able to click the mouse without great difficulty.   Always keep in mind all situations... ;)

Are you disabled Lee?

Think of it this way buck.  Some people will buy a good sized screen yet use scaling (125% or 150%...) to be able to see the text better.  Others might say, "you're losing so much detail if you do that."  Irrelevant comment if the viewer is enjoying their monitor better.

Scaled %175 on my 43 inch 4k (3840x2160 resolution) monitor otherwise everything is so darn small I can barely see. I hate 3C and want a challenge so I switched many, many years ago. Some want it the same way since computers were invented and don't like change, I have no problems with disabled people playing it though because my friend uses a trackball because of Arthritis.

Tiger that sounded like an asshole comment.
