When you uninstalled unity did you just uninstall from add and remove programs then reinstall unity? If that's what you did your settings are still left behind in hidden folders and the registry. So when you reinstall it's using those same settings again. Check out this post. But be careful with your registry.

 

How to completely remove unity

Also before you would try that make sure you backup your projects onto a external drive for safekeeping.

Are you not maybe using a newer version of Unity or accidentally updated to a newer version? 

it is the correct version,verified.

yep justin you are correct,that was my next step,and thanks for the link to the process,i have no doubt this will fix it.

Well any luck?

i think it is fixed,i just havent had time to try alot of stuff yet.but i followed your link,and this time when i reinstalled unity ,course forge  came up and asked me to read the users agreement.everything seemed back to normal,but i wont know for sure until i compile a course.if it works i will mark this thread solved.thanks to everyone who  helprd with this ,much appreaciated.
